The original “Fun in the Sun” Roadster, the MG-B! Our MG is a 1974 ½ model, which means it
has the Federally mandated 5 mph bumpers, but still retains the higher performance twin SU
carburetors. The US headlight rules also stipulated a certain height requirement. This MG-B has
been returned to the traditional MG-B ride height so it handles like an MG-B should!
The current owner has had the car since 2016 and has made major mechanical upgrades to the
car:
Brakes have been completely redone, including lines, cylinders, pads, shoes, rotors and
drums
New clutch, pressure plate and T/O bearing
Complete tune up
New battery, alternator and regulator
New shocks, springs, wheel bearings and tie rod ends
Flushed radiator and cooling system
The interior has been completely restored:
New carpets
New seat covers and cushions
New sun visors
New dash cap
The Tan Convertible top is about 4 years old and the windshield was also replaced by the
current owner. And though there are no dents and few dings, the paint and body are not
perfect. This MG-B is not only rust and rot-free, owing to the fact that it was never driven
during the winter and always garage kept, it is an excellent driving car and is one of the most
comfortable MG-Bs you will ever find. It is the perfect car for a weekend drive to the Berkshires
to view the foliage, or to enjoy a day at the sea shore! It will also turn a few heads at the local
cruise night.
Finished in Tundra Green with silver MG-B stripes, and a Saddle interior, this is one fun car,
ready for your immediate use and driving enjoyment!
